Widescope

WideScope is a browser-native viewer for LLM and AI-agent traces. I am its creator and maintainer, Soumendra Kumar Sahoo.

What problem does it solve?

A captured trace needs an inspection surface. WideScope opens JSON without an ingestion backend and shows timing, span relationships and AI-call attributes.

Try a public example

Open the viewer and select Load sample JSON. Explore a span, then inspect the repository fixtures and source.

Design and limits

DecisionConsequence
Rust compiled to WebAssembly, with Svelte and ViteParsing and inspection run in the browser
OTLP, Jaeger and OpenInference JSON inputsThe viewer depends on captured trace data
Static deployment on Cloudflare PagesNo ingestion service to operate

Local file inspection does not upload traces. Sharing a trace link exposes its contents to recipients. Cost estimates depend on input attributes and pricing assumptions; traces alone do not prove answer quality. This page makes no performance benchmark or adoption claim.
